Summer 2008 is almost here!

Hi RRDC campers and families!  There is so much going on at camp to prepare for the first day on June 30!  Our crew has already arrived as we are hosting our annual staff orientation now.  Everyone is so thrilled to reunite with old friends and even more excited to welcome new crew members aboard.  We have also been pushing through the heat wave to set up the camp facilities.  The pools have water, the boats are being loaded back into the river, and speciality cove is filled with art projects.  The multi-porpoise room is even receiving as a makeover as we install our new “Wii sports” activity.  Remember that Meet your Mateys day is next Saturday, June 21.  This will be your chance to meet both your counselors and your group members.  Check the RRDC mailing for the time of your group orientation.  Also, feel free to call the camp office at 516 593-CAMP with any last minute questions or concerns.  Can’t wait to “sea” you on June 30!!!
